After writing an article, the next step is to post it to your site so that it can be read by both people and search engines. Our main revenue stream will be through paid ad clicks so the content we write serves as our hook. We don’t charge for access to our material, everything you create should be available for free in order to lure in as many visitors as possible. In this section I will walk you through the process of posting an article on Wordpress which should familiarize you with the basic interface.
Step 1 - Log in. Go to http://your-url-here.com/wp-admin and you will be presented with this log in screen. Use the login details you selected during WordPress installation in C-Panel. The Login Screen Looks Like This:

Step 2 - Once you log in, you’ll be taken to your Dashboard. The dashboard serves as an overview and should look a little something like this:

Step 3 - Click where it says ‘Pages’ on the sidebar to the left than click ‘add new.
Step 4 - Next, enter the article title and edit the url to something easier on the eye. Note: You might need to save the page as a draft before being able to edit the URL. If you’re targeting a specific keyword with the article, your url should be that EXACT keyword. [Like the Earl Grey Green Tea Example, if we write an article about Earl Grey Green Tea, the url, or ‘permalink’, should be plain ol ‘earl-grey-green-tea’. Keep in mind SPACES DO NOT WORK in URLs, so DO not use them. Use dases ‘-’ to seperate words!

Step 5 - Click the kitchen sink button to bring up more options. If you’re copying from a word processor, click the ‘W’ icon, otherwise click the ‘T’ icon. You may need to redo some of your spacing.

Step 6 - Copy the contents of your article into the box provided when you click one of the two icons:

Step 7 - Review the text to make sure everything copied over okay, than hit publish on the right. If you want to see how your page will look before publishing it, hit preview.

And that’s all there is to it. Creating pages is not the only option for posting content on wordpress, posts are also available and can be organized into categories that you create. Once you’ve created a simple site using this guide, feel free to experiment with Wordpress and learn more, advanced tutorials are available on our site to help you along the way.
